Slippery Elm Powder is easy to digest and can be given internally to horses or dogs, and can be used externally as part of a poultice or compress.

Ingredients:
Slippery Elm Powder (powdered inner bark of the Red Elm tree : Ulmus fulva)
Feeding Guide:
- Horses: 10 to 20 grams daily (one 15ml scoop = approx 5.2 grams)
- Dogs: Small: ½ to 1 teaspoon : Medium: 1 to 1½ teaspoons : Large: 1 to 2 teaspoons
- Add to feed on a daily basis, if possible splitting the required amount between two feeds
- Allow up to one month for benefits to be seen
- It is worth starting with a lower amount for this effective, gentle herb
*please note: we do not include feeding instructions on the packaging or include a scoop in the bag or tub. This is due to the consistency of straight herbs eg roots are more dense than leaves or flowers, and they can be given to a variety of species.
