TURNADO bits represent a new generation of loose ring snaffles.
Standard single jointed bits have a production related characteristic: one part of the mouthpiece is longer than the other which results in stronger influence on one tongue edge. To avoid this problem, we recommend to use TURNADO bits.
The joint of these bits has been angled forward by 45 degrees in order to guarantee an even distribution of pressure on both sides of the tongue.
This special rotation is distinctly marked by a slightly abrasive surface (sandblasting) in the middle part of the mouthpiece.

Sensogan:
This Sprenger bit has been engineered from Sensogan, which is a distinctive composition of copper, manganese and zinc. With a reduced copper content the oxidation process is still maintained, however the extraordinary combination with manganese is what makes the difference; it results in a smoother and more regulated process of oxidation. This has a very positive influence on the hose's satisfaction, motivation and willingness to perform.
Sensogan does not tarnish easily and is easy to care for. All Sensogan bits are marked with a black ring with an arrow on the cheeks. Make sure that the arrow is pointing forwards on the left hand side.
Available in 14mm bit thickness in Sensogan in 125mm (5'') or 135mm (5¼'')
